A Place Called Home - by Mr. Jason Grant

I really enjoyed the latest book by the talented Mr. Jason Grant, the front cover captures the eye and the entire book is colorful and filled with suggestions on how to create a stylish home. It works its way through each area of the homegiving a concise list of his favorite things and suggests how each room could look and how to achieve it.

There is a wonderful mix of vintage and new which makes the reader want to hit the markets to find some new treasures. The photographs are bright and inspiring, everyone is beautifully crafted and shows the stylish homes with a contemporary beach life feel.

The chapter on hallways really resonated with me as this is an area of the home I have struggled with, it's a drop the bags, shoes and go! Therefore I am now on a mission to take Jason's advice and make this a more welcoming area.

As my home, Bondi always has so much to inspire with its eclectic mix of architecture, natural beauty and interesting people. That really comes across in the book and the pictures certainly display Bondi's beauty.

A Place Called Home is packed with exciting ideas on how to improve your home, ensuring a place of comfort and full of things you love.

One of his top tips is to "listen to your heart and only buy what you love" - and I loved this book.
