Yesterday at the SYDNEY REED GIFT FAIR, it was nice to meet the people who run the businesses. There was a great feeling of excitement and anticipation as buyer, looked for new stock and prepared for the Christmas rush.

For me my highlights were meeting the ladies from Urbaani, they sell beautiful homewares by Swedish and European designers. Their range is eco friendly cushion, table runners and bags which use 100% hemp, along with floral chopping board and the beautifully designed children’s quilts and blankets, to name a few of their items.

I also enjoyed meeting the man behind Pigeon & Weasel, some very cool soy candles made from beers bottles!!! They are doing some exciting collaborations with different artists to design the packaging for their ranges. The branding and product are fantastic.

Also Valo, a Bondi based Scandinavian light company, they have some stunning minimal lights. Their collection includes stylish wooden pendant lights and lamps, rustic and industrial drum lights, simple glass pendant lights, aluminium pendant lights, wire cage lights with many more exciting new concepts to come.

Looking forward to work with our new friends and stock very soon their beautiful design products.
