This week I received a letter (YES a letter!) from my mum, on how her garden is about to explode with new colours and blossom, as Spring is just around the corner in Italy.

As a wise story teller, she also reminded me about an ancient Zen phrase, that goes: ‘ If you want to be happy for an hour, spend it with a good bottle of wine; if you want to be happy for a night, spend it with the beloved one; if you want to be happy for life, grow your garden'. 

Wise words… And it’s actually so true on how some greenery could spice up your living room, your kitchen or any other corner of your house. A well kept vase is nothing better than a silent companion, that can speak out its mind with vivid colour and smell.

Doesn’t matter the size, the shape or the kind of greenery you enjoy, as long as you keep it healthy, loved and considered, it will give you the spark you were looking for inside and outside your home.
