I’ve got a new thing, as I’m looking for new stock I find I keep getting drawn to coat hooks, in all the different shapes and sizes. I think my favourite so far are the Dotti, natural style of Muuto. They are flexible and can be styled any which way you choose – you could even put them nice and low for the kids to hang their coats on.

Some coat hooks are so nice you don’t want to hide them away, I have a fun and whimsical selection for the kids from Mini Empire arriving soon. These coat hangers are of woodland and exotic creatures. The idea to make these special hangers has come up from Lisa Began, a younger designer who started designing and hand-printing her own original products with the help of her partner, Edward, in their London studio since 2000. 

         

They are such little characters, I love them all but maybe the hedgehog wins for me, as it reminds me of a toys from my childhood, called Honey. And for you, which one is your favourite? The mole? The tiger? or the puppy?
