Yes, I have to admit, black is my favourite colour. And despise what people might think about wearing black or loving the ‘dark’ side of the moon, it turns out to be really cool at the moment.

I didn’t realise that, until I start to have more ideas and get more inspiration from several monochrome pictures around the web. The enlightening moment happened when the usual ‘wearing black’ status was pushing me to look for colours and actually found more monotones interesting interiors and spaces.

I do like those black furniture pieces and materials, which play a solid and sinuous role at the same time, where various grey shades and pure white light combine elegant and cosy rooms, in which everyday objects and fury sheepskins can speak the same language.

What seemed to be addressed as a common, plain, old-fashioned tone, discovers new playful sides of interiors and decoration and unravels new experience of light, penumbra and shades, dancing with soft and rough materials.
